From 2018 until the forced closure due to COVID-19 in March 2020, EIS Aircraft has performed a warranty repair program for OEM Recaro at the KLM E&M facilities in close cooperation with ROC Airport College & FRONTROW Aviation B.V.. In parallel, KLM has requested EIS Aircraft's assistance to support their A- & C-check projects in regards to various cabin interior activities.

Based on the EIS Aircraft experience / FRONTROW Aviation experience, we truly started to understand the difficulties to plan and execute an effective and efficient maintenance process:

  • like ANY other MRO, engineering & maintenance activities are difficult to plan due to network and production disturbances
  • potentially these disturbances may result in under-utilisation of the existing workforce and downtime
  • By outsourcing of certain secondary cabin interior & exterior tasks and creation of flexibility KLM will enable themselves to focus on the primary maintenance tasks and consequently enhance AIRCRAFT AVAILABILITY AND AIRCRAFT HEALTH.
